VIDEO: Protest in Yerevan City Center – What is Happening

Footage is being shared on social media from a protest taking place in the center of Yerevan. Supporters of the Red Berets violently attempted to disperse a gathering organized by the Armenian National Assembly demanding Prime Minister Pashinyan's resignation.

The Polar movement has issued a statement: “The police have just forcibly detained Polar Council member Garegin Chughasyan and reserve colonel Volodya Avetisyan. There are dozens of people who have also been detained. According to our information, supporters of Polar have been beaten at the Central Police Station.”
