“Are We Demanding That Azerbaijan Withdraw from There or Not?” - Marukyan

If there is a map indicating that those 4 villages belong to Azerbaijan, then based on that map, hundreds of hectares of territory are occupied from Armenia. The question is, should these occupied territories be withdrawn from or not? This was noted by Edmon Marukyan, the president of the "Bright Armenia" party and former ambassador for special missions, during a conversation with journalists at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex regarding the demarcation process.

“If we are discussing the issue of legitimacy, then there should be simultaneous withdrawal: they from our territories, and we from theirs. This should be demanded,” he said, emphasizing that this demand should be made at all levels. According to him, the key issue is not the post but rather that on the other side there are territories occupied by Azerbaijan. “Are we demanding Azerbaijan to withdraw from there or not?”
