VIDEO: Karo Paylian Expelled from Armenian Church – Details from 'Hraparak'
Representatives of the Armenian community expelled Karo Paylian, a member of the Turkish Parliament, from the St. Gevorg Church in Burbank, Los Angeles. This information was shared with 'Hraparak' by one of the attendees at the evening service, who also provided a short video clip.
It was noted that Paylian was accompanied by Mihran Khachaturian from the Hunchakian Party, one of Nikol Pashinyan's ardent supporters in Los Angeles.
Later, the media released additional details about the incident involving Turkish MP Karo Paylian in Burbank. After Paylian was asked to leave the church, a scuffle broke out immediately outside. According to the report, representatives of the Armenian community labeled Paylian a scoundrel, Turk, traitor, and 'Erdogan's dog.'
“Inside the church, people refrained from insults, but once he exited the church, shouts of 'Turk', 'Erdogan's dog', and 'scoundrel' began. The situation escalated into a scuffle. They realized it was safer inside the church, so they re-entered and exited through a back door accompanied by the bishop. They felt secure with the bishop's presence,” the community representative informed 'Hraparak'.
