Why Did Pashinyan Travel to Voskepar by Helicopter?
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that an intriguing hypothesis is circulating in the corridors of power regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's helicopter trip to Voskepar. According to sources, the concern is not merely about avoiding discontent from people along the road but rather about circumventing the Ijevan-Noyemberyan interstate road, which leads to Voskepar and is considered Azerbaijani territory based on the Alma-Ata Declaration, as per Pashinyan.
This implies that he has already recognized this section of the road as Azerbaijani, thus opting to refrain from using it. This is similar to how European Union observers, who were conducting a mission in Armenia a few days ago, also bypassed that part of the road on their way to Voskepar, assessing it as Azerbaijani territory. When locals learned of this, they reportedly protested and expelled the observers from their land.
