The U.S. Imposes Sanctions Against Israel in Relation to the Situation in the West Bank

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has imposed sanctions against an Israeli citizen and two Israeli organizations in connection with the situation in the West Bank along the Jordan River. This was announced by the U.S. financial administration.

Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden signed an executive order allowing sanctions against Jewish settlers involved in ongoing activities.

Inclusion in the sanctions list results in the freezing of assets in the U.S. and prohibits American citizens and companies from engaging in business with the listed individuals.
