Tigran Khachatryan Receives French Co-Chair of OSCE Minsk Group

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Brice Roquefoy, head of the Continental Europe Department at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group. The meeting was also attended by Olivier Decottignies, the Ambassador of France to Armenia, Hasmik Tolmajyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to France, and Kristine Ghalechyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of deepening economic cooperation with France, both for the continuous strengthening of bilateral relations and for enhancing Armenia's resilience. The interlocutors exchanged views on projects aimed at the development of road, irrigation, and energy infrastructure.

Special attention was given to the details of the cooperation planned within the framework of the North-South investment program, particularly regarding the Sisian-Kajaran road section. The parties also discussed credit programs being implemented in cooperation with the French Development Agency, notably the ongoing work on the construction of the Vedi reservoir and irrigation system.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their willingness to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation on both sides.

Earlier, we reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan had also received the French co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
