Starting Next Week, Residents from Tavush Communities Will Join the Working Group: Pashinyan
Starting next week, representatives from the communities will be involved in the working group. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting with farmers in the Tavush community of Kiran.
“The leaders of the administrative districts are involved in the delimitation and demarcation commission, bringing their arguments and informing the people about what is happening,” he said.
According to Pashinyan, the current tension is primarily related to the Kiran and Berkaber communities. “We are building a school there and we must ensure the full safety of our children,” he stated.
He added that although the process is challenging, he remains optimistic because a border is being drawn throughout the country. “The border is a certain guarantee of peace. We must always remember that things may not go as planned, but to ensure that everything goes as we have planned, we need to engage in dialogue with each other,” Pashinyan said.
