I Don’t Believe Conditions Will Be Created to Invite Ukraine to NATO at the Washington Summit, Says NATO Deputy Secretary General

This July, there will be no conditions to invite Ukraine to the alliance at the summit in Washington. This was announced by NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană. According to RIA Novosti, he stated, “I will be honest; I do not believe that conditions will be created to invite Ukraine to NATO at the summit in Washington,” while responding to a question from a Ukrainian journalist during the Security and Defense Forum in Washington.
