Tsarukyan Reveals Earnings After Fight with Oliveira

Arman Tsarukyan, the number one ranked lightweight fighter in the UFC, discussed his earnings following the UFC 300 event where he faced Charles Oliveira.

Before the fight, American media reported that Tsarukyan's base salary was set to be $164,000. When asked by RBC whether it was true that he earned $164,000 for the match against Oliveira, Tsarukyan replied, “That is not correct. It’s almost double that.”

When probed further if it was over $300,000, he responded, “It turns out, yes. The money will come, we’ll see.”

Tsarukyan also mentioned, “No one writes the truth. No one knows how much anyone makes. I earned more in my second-to-last fight than I did now. There are also various conditions in the contract regarding how early or late the fight ends.”

During the UFC 300 event held on Sunday night, Arman Tsarukyan won against former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira by unanimous decision.
