Georgia's parliament has approved the draft law on "Transparency of Foreign Influence" in its first reading. Eighty-three lawmakers voted in favor, with none opposing.
The law mandates that non-governmental organizations and media outlets funded from abroad must register in a special registry and submit annual declarations.
