Turkey's Call to Iran

The Turkish authorities have urged Iran not to launch an attack on Israel. This was stated in a press release from the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Prior to the incident, we met with the authorities of Iran and the USA and called for moderation. The mutual expectations and messages from both sides have been conveyed through our country,” the ministry's statement read.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that they will continue their efforts to prevent the global conflict. Ankara also condemned Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria.
