Tragic Car Accident in Tavush Province

Today, on April 15, a tragic car accident occurred in Tavush province. Around 18:20, a 32-year-old resident of Tavush, named Hayastan A., drove his "Kia" car along the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, near the beginning of Ijevan city, and under still unknown circumstances, veered off the roadway and crashed into a stone fence.

According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver was taken to the "Ijevan" medical center with injuries, while a passenger, 71-year-old Hamest P. from Tavush, died at the scene.
