Tajikistan Imposes Visa Regime for Turkish Citizens
Tajikistan will introduce a visa regime for Turkish citizens holding general civil passports starting from April 20, according to reports from the Khovar agency referencing the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry has stated that the decision was made based on the principle of reciprocity.
It was previously announced that a visa regime for Tajik citizens in Turkey would also come into effect from April 20, 2024. The corresponding decree was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Following this announcement, the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs began discussions on retaliatory measures.
