Alen Simonian Addresses Incident Involving MP from the Civil Contract Party

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, addressed an incident that occurred today in public transport, involving a dispute and physical altercation between Civil Contract Party MP Hakob Aslanyan and a citizen.

“Today, a nobody committed a hooligan act against the 69-year-old MP of the National Assembly, Hakob Aslanyan, who is, by the way, a participant in three wars. This hooligan act will very quickly receive the strictest response from the law; let no one dare doubt that,” Simonian wrote.
