Israel to Discuss Response Actions After Iranian Attack
The official representative of the IDF, Peter Lerner, announced that the Israeli government will convene to decide on response measures following the Iranian attack. His remarks were quoted by Sky News.
“Today we are appealing to the government, which will be gathering later today to make a decision and will issue appropriate instructions to the military,” Lerner stated. He emphasized that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are “preparing for any surprises.”
“We must be extremely cautious about what could actually happen moving forward, and that is why the IDF is on alert, with our air defense systems remaining in a high state of readiness,” the IDF representative stressed.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, Mohammad Baqeri, stated that the Iranian military is not yet inclined to continue military operations against Israel.
