Several Roads Closed in Armenia, Traffic Halted Near Bridge by Geghard Village

The Rescue Service has reported that some roads are closed in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to the Amberd Fortress and Karahunj Lake are closed.

Due to a partial collapse in the pedestrian section of a bridge near the village of Geghard in Ararat province, traffic on the bridge has been halted.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
