Armenia and Kazakhstan to Exempt Their Trucks from Certain Fees
Armenia and Kazakhstan will exempt their freight trucks from road and environmental fees. A draft amendment to the bilateral intergovernmental agreement on international road transport was approved today during a meeting of the Armenian government.
The agreement was originally signed in 2006, but the issue of these payments has not been resolved until now. The exemption from fees will apply not only to bilateral transport but also to transit freight shipments.
