VIDEO: Russian Pranksters Force IOC President to 'Pray'
The President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, has "prayed" in honor of the "Saints Vovan and Lexus" during a conversation with famous Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Alexey Stolyarov (Lexus). The prank was aimed at preventing the upcoming World Friendship Games in Russia.
One of the pranksters stated, "They are heroes of the continent, and it would be great if you repeat this prayer." Dressed as an African political figure, prankster Lexus made a video call to Bach and proclaimed that his country celebrates the holiday of "Saint Vovan and Lexus." He then placed his hand on his chest, and Bach imitated the gesture, praying in honor of the "saints." In the prayer, they requested to stop the World Friendship Games, which are set to take place from September 15 to 29 in Russia.
The European Commission's Vice President Margaritis Schinas also accepted the "prayer" with Bach. He remarked, "It’s wonderful, now that we have divine inspiration, nothing can go wrong." This entire segment was aired on Russian First Channel as part of the "Vovan and Lexus Show."
