VIDEO: How the Former Ministry of Defense Building was Demolished

A short while ago, the former Ministry of Defense building was demolished.

On April 15, 2023, the government of Armenia decided to transfer the former Ministry of Defense building located on the Yerevan-Ararat highway to the State Revenue Committee (SRC). Earlier, the Emergency Situations Ministry had informed that: “Dear citizens, on April 17, from 10:40 AM to 11:20 AM, there will be demolition works of the SRC administrative building at 5 Gevorg Chavush Street in the Proshyan village of the Nairi community in the Kotayk Province. As a result, the highway will be closed. For safety reasons, there will be a firefighting and rescue unit from the ES Ministry's Yerevan rescue service on site. Please do not be alarmed.”
