Doctors in Armenia to Be Licensed: Bill Passed
The National Assembly of Armenia has passed the bill on the licensing of doctors in its second and final reading. Currently, medical institutions in Armenia are licensed, but individual doctors are not.
According to information from Sputnik Armenia, the ministry believes that the quality requirements for specific doctors' work should also be raised.
It was previously reported that the licenses will be granted for a period of five years, with the possibility of extension unless a decision is made to suspend them.
