Georgia and China Sign Agreement on Visa-Free Regime
On April 10, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and the Chinese Ambassador to Tbilisi, Zhao Jun, signed an agreement on a visa-free regime for mutual visits between citizens of the two countries.
“The agreement signed today on the introduction of a visa-free regime will make it easier for our citizens to travel to China. This will give new impetus to the friendly relations between our countries and the further development of cooperation,” Darchiashvili said after the signing of the agreement.
The Chinese Ambassador noted that the visa-free regime will provide more opportunities for Georgian and Chinese entrepreneurs, who will be able to make reciprocal visits to discuss cooperation issues and attract investments.
