Alarm: EU Observers Consider Ijevan-Voskepar Road Azerbaijani
The president of the Democratic Alliance party, political scientist Suren Petrosyan, has released a video from Voskepar, stating that EU observers consider the Ijevan-Voskepar road to be Azerbaijani and disputed.
“In order for the EU observation mission to reach Voskepar, they travel 200 km from Ijevan instead of 30 km. When I asked them why the route is so long, they replied that they operate within a clear regulatory framework and do not want to provoke Azerbaijan in any way, as they consider these territories to be Azerbaijani and still disputed. Who has allowed to make our Homeland and state interests a subject of bargaining? The mission casts doubt on Armenia's sovereign territory and is guided by Azerbaijani maps. Naturally, this process could not happen without the consent of the authorities. Whether it be an international organization, an observation mission, or the Armenian government, no one can bargain with the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, our homeland, our land; we must all be confident in this, but we all need to unite on this issue,” Petrosyan stated.
