US Sees No Signs of Genocide in Israel's Actions in Gaza
The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, has stated that the United States has no evidence that Israel is committing genocide in the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip. This information was reported by Armenpress, referencing RIA Novosti.
“We have no evidence of that,” Austin said during a Senate Armed Services Committee meeting while responding to a question regarding the situation in Gaza.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, tied to the territorial interests of both sides, has been a source of tension and conflict in the region for decades. In 1947, with the active involvement of the Soviet Union, the United Nations decided to create two states—Israel and Palestine—but only the Israeli state was established.
