The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has spoken about the difficult situation regarding the defense against air attacks in Kharkiv and called on the West to provide more air defense systems. He made these statements during an evening address.
"It is quite clear that our air defense systems in Ukraine are insufficient, and this is obvious to all our partners. We are looking for ways to provide Kharkiv with more air protection," he said.
Earlier, Maxim Timchenko, the CEO of the Ukrainian energy holding DTEK, stated that Ukraine's air defense is weaker than it was a few months ago.
