The "Kathleen" storm has struck the United Kingdom and Ireland, leaving thousands without electricity.

Operations at airports in Manchester, Belfast, and Dublin have been suspended. Scotland has experienced disruptions in rail and ferry services, with wind speeds exceeding 112 km/h.

The storm has caused power outages across Ireland, leaving around 34,000 homes, farms, and businesses without electricity.
