Video: Children Climb Out on Balcony and Hang from Fourth Floor in Russia

In the village of Khrustalny, located in the Kavalerovsky district of Russia, two small children climbed out onto the balcony of a fourth-floor apartment while their mother was asleep with her newborn. The children began to play, scaling the balcony. At one point, the boy ended up hanging off the edge at a significant height. A neighbor assisted the child in getting back inside.

Residents of the neighboring house noticed the children and recorded the incident on their phones. The prosecutor's office has already initiated an investigation into the matter. It is reported that the balcony was locked, but while their mother was asleep, the children managed to locate the handle of the balcony door.

The mother of the children has four kids, all of whom are currently temporarily entrusted to their grandmother. Previously, the family had not been registered in any special registries. The Kavalerovsky district prosecutor's office will conduct an inspection regarding the oversight and the functioning of bodies responsible for the prevention of minors' legal violations.
