Heavy Fighting in Multiple Directions: Ukraine's Armed Forces Commander Syrskiy

The town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region remains under the control of Ukrainian forces, despite fierce fighting in the eastern part of the city, stated Ukraine's Armed Forces Commander Oleksandr Syrskiy.

Syrskiy noted that the hottest battles continue in the directions of Pervomaiske and Vodiane, as well as east of Chasiv Yar, where Russian troops are attempting to breach the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"Chasiv Yar is under our control, all enemy attempts to invade populated areas have failed," declared the Ukrainian general.

According to Syrskiy, the most critical situation has developed in the direction of Bakhmut, to the east of Chasiv Yar and Kleschiiivka, in Avdiivka, in the areas of Berdiicheve, Orlivka, Vodiane, and Pervomaiske, as well as in Novopavlivske, in the area of Novomykhailivka.
