Tragic Car Accident in Ararat Province: One Dead and One Injured

On April 5, a tragic car accident occurred in Ararat Province. At approximately 08:50, a Mercedes vehicle veered off the roadway in the village of Azatashen, crashing into a gas pipe and the wall of a building, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported with injuries to the ‘Astghik’ Medical Center. Bystanders were the first to assist the injured individual, managing to extricate them from the vehicle with their efforts. Emergency medical responders from the Masis medical center arrived promptly, providing initial first aid on site before transferring the injured to the hospital.

Rescue workers utilized specialized equipment to retrieve the deceased from the vehicle and transported the body to the morgue on a stretcher.

In connection with the accident, the Masis Investigative Division has initiated a criminal proceeding to ascertain the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured. Under the instructions of the investigator, the vehicle has been moved to a secured area of the Masis police department.
