Inspection Suspends Bakery's Production Activities

The production activities of a bakery owned by individual entrepreneur Khoren Yuzbashyan have been suspended during an inspection conducted by the food safety inspection authority's Aragatsotn regional center, which revealed a number of serious violations of sanitary and hygienic norms (Aragatsotn region, village of Aragats).

In particular:

• The walls of the bakery were not made of waterproof materials that can be washed and disinfected;
• The frequency of cleaning, washing, disinfection, pest control, and rodent extermination processes for the production facilities, technological equipment, and items used in food production was not maintained;
• The internal windows did not have easily removable and cleanable insect screens;
• Employees who had direct contact with food were not subjected to mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations and did not have sanitary books.

The bakery's production activities have been suspended, and a deadline has been set to eliminate the identified violations.
