Reminder: As of Today, Components of the Bonus System Resulting from the Ministry of Internal Affairs Reforms Come into Effect
Starting today, April 5, the components of the bonus system resulting from the reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs come into effect.
It is important to note that due to legislative reforms from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, changes made to the Code on Administrative Offenses will take effect from April 5. The changes include:
- If a decision on a fine has been made based on a recorded violation by a patrol service officer or through video recording devices, the fine will be reduced by 30% if paid within 15 days following the notification, and the payment obligation will be considered fully executed (except in cases of appealing the decision to impose administrative penalties).
- If you have an obligation related to a violation committed before April 5 that is not with the enforcement authority, paying 50% of the fine will satisfy the obligation in full.
- If the obligation is with the enforcement authority, paying 50% of the fine will cover the execution costs for the remaining amount.
Payments can be made by citizens through the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at cesa.am, using the 'Personal Office' and 'Searches' platforms, as well as via payment terminals and banks.
The penalties for violations of stopping or parking rules have been softened; instead of a 0.5-point penalty, there will now be a 0.25-point penalty. At the same time, the administrative liability for violations regarding the transparency of windows has been tightened. In cases of repeated offenses within a year or subsequent offenses, a fine of 29,000 AMD will be imposed along with 2 penalty points.
These legislative reforms by the Ministry of Internal Affairs aim to encourage law-abiding drivers and increase road traffic safety.
