Alen Simonian's Referent Does Not Attend Work but Receives Salary and Bonus: 'Joghourt'

'Joghourt' newspaper reports that the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, has appointed a person named Edgar Muradyan as his referent, who does not attend work but still receives bonuses and a salary. 'Joghourt' has made another sensational revelation.

According to the inquiry sent to Alen Simonian, a representative of 'Joghourt' roamed the corridors of the National Assembly President's office, documented the working rooms of the office's representatives, but there is no office or nameplate for Edgar Muradyan, who graduated from the State Institute of Physical Culture.

Questions posed include: 1. How many times has Edgar Muradyan attended work in the last six months? Please provide verification of his attendance at work through the security checkpoint; 2. Where is Edgar Muradyan conducting his work, in which room, and why is there no nameplate? 3. What specific work is he performing to receive a salary and bonuses from state funds? 4. Is it true that the advisor to the National Assembly President, Ashkhen Hayrapetyan, regularly marks him as present in the monthly attendance register under the instruction of the President of the National Assembly to ensure his full salary payment? 5. Does Edgar Muradyan personally receive his salary, or is the money transferred to his bank card intended for someone among your close associates?

In response, the press secretary of the National Assembly President, Neli Duryan, confirmed all the information stated in the inquiries. She did refuse to provide details about Edgar Muradyan's attendance records, but acknowledged that he works remotely, meaning he does not come to work, and that there is no separate office, nameplate, or working conditions for him. 'He works in a common office allocated to the staff of the National Assembly president when necessary,' stated the spokesperson.

This implies that he only works when necessary, and there are months when the referent does not even enter the National Assembly. Regarding the alleged falsification by advisor Ashkhen Hayrapetyan, the spokesperson provided a vague response: 'The attendance of the employees of the National Assembly President's office is recorded in the established hourly accounts.' Thus, this information has also been confirmed. Regarding who actually receives Muradyan's salary, the National Assembly has stated that 'it is transferred to his bank account.' We will conduct further clarifications on this matter, as we have questionable information.

Furthermore, it has been clarified that the privileged referent works at 'Karuyut' company, according to his internet page, but also serves as a referent for the National Assembly president. 'Joghourt' has also discovered that he is the husband of Syuzanna Galstyan, the assistant to ruling party MP Lena Nazaryan.

'Joghourt' also spoke with Syuzanna Galstyan, who claimed, 'My husband works at the National Assembly; he has no other job; he has been out for a long time and attends work every day.' In reality, the assistant to Lena Nazaryan lied, claiming her husband attends work daily since the press secretary has confirmed that Edgar Muradyan does not attend work and works remotely. As Paruyr Sevak would say, '...they have left the world on their shoulders.'

Moreover, former Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan is being punished by Nikol Pashinyan's justice today for having registered his daughter as an employed officer in the police when she has not attended work but received money. Following the same logic, Alen Simonian should also be held accountable for having an employee who does not attend work but still receives a salary and bonuses.
