Israel is preparing for a possible Iranian response, according to a report by i24 News, citing Israeli sources. "We are ready," the television network quotes a source as saying, while noting that there is no hysteria regarding this matter.

It is important to recall that on April 1, media outlets reported that Israel had struck the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. The attack resulted in casualties and injuries. Among the deceased were Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon; and General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Tehran has declared that it will respond decisively to Israel's strike in Damascus.
