France Has 'Useful Information' Regarding the Crocus Terror Attack: Macron
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he possesses "useful information" regarding the terrorist attack that occurred at the Crocus event venue, and that the country's Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu is prepared to share this information with his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu during a conversation, as reported by France 24.
During the ceremony for the opening of the Olympic water sports center near Paris, Macron commented on the phone conversations between the defense ministers of Russia and France, which took place a day earlier on April 3. The reason for the conversation, according to the French leader, was Paris's desire to share certain information regarding the attack, which has become available to French intelligence services.
However, according to Macron, Shoigu's statements came across as "exaggerated and threatening, and there is nothing new in them." The French president also noted that the insinuations suggesting Ukrainian and particularly Parisian involvement in the terrorist attack at the Russian concert hall "do not correspond to reality and are absurd."
