Russian Embassy in Armenia Calls on Yerevan
As a result of direct dialogue between Moscow and Yerevan, the return to a 'normal allied state' is the only reasonable solution. This was stated on Wednesday, April 3, the day of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and Armenia, by the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
"We are confident that correcting the accumulated imbalances and returning to a 'normal allied state' through direct dialogue between Moscow and Yerevan is not only possible but also the only reasonable solution," the statement posted on the Telegram channel of the Russian diplomatic mission in Armenia reads.
The message also notes that Russia and Armenia are members of common integration associations (EAEU, CSTO, and CIS) and cooperate in UN structures. There are approximately 200 cooperation agreements in various fields between the two countries.
"Russia has always attached special importance to strengthening friendly ties with Armenia as an ally and an important partner," the statement emphasized.
