France Takes Responsibility for Security Issues Concerning Armenia: French Ambassador to Armenia

France takes responsibility for security issues concerning Armenia. This statement was made by the French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, during a broadcast on Public Television.

“France supports Armenia in the field of defense so that the country can protect its people, sovereignty, and territorial integrity,” said Decottignies.

“Regarding security issues, France takes responsibility for Armenia. In recent months, we have begun cooperation in the defense sector with Armenia, which is developing. The Armenian Minister of Defense visited Paris, and in turn, the French Minister of Armed Forces visited Armenia, during which we witnessed some specific results in terms of equipment and training that are already underway for the benefit of the Armenian army,” the ambassador added.
