Actors Begin Indefinite Sit-In in Front of 'Goy' Theater

Actors have commenced an indefinite sit-in in front of the 'Goy' Theater. This information has been confirmed through the theater's Facebook page.

Yesterday, actor Sargis Arzumanyan announced that he would be initiating the sit-in near the theater.

It is noteworthy that the management of the Gabriel Sundukyan Theater has closed the entrance to the Goy Theater, thus obstructing its normal operations. The staff of the Goy Theater is attempting to enter through the Gabriel Sundukyan Theater’s entrance to seek clarifications from the director of the Gabriel Sundukyan Theater.

Furthermore, according to a government decision, the act of reuniting the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater and the Goy National Experimental Center for Performing Arts was signed as per regulations established on January 15.

The Goy Theater has also approached the administrative court, requesting to nullify the government’s decision which stipulates that the theater should be dissolved and merged with the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater.
