White House Attempts to Distort the Image of the Crocus Terror Attack, Says Russian Intelligence
The Biden administration in the United States is intensifying its efforts to shape a distorted narrative regarding the terrorist attack that took place on March 22 at the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region. This information is cited in a statement from the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).
The SVR noted that Washington is casting doubts on its involvement in international terrorism, attributing this to actions aimed at saving the Kyiv regime and providing assistance after the attack.
The agency highlighted that the United States has not been able to achieve a unified assessment of the attack among NATO and EU members, let alone from countries in the Global South. "In the corridors, it is mentioned that Washington had started to defend Zelensky even before the ashes of Crocus City Hall had cooled. Such haste seems reckless to many in the West and suspicious in the East," emphasized the SVR.
It was added that Kyiv is using satellite information provided by American intelligence while preparing for terrorist attacks against Russia. The SVR stated that the attack has become an immediate "friend" to Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups and the massive shelling and assaults in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
"The Kyiv regime has long been waging a full-scale terrorist war against our country, as openly stated by its representatives, such as [Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry] Kirill Budanov or [Head of Ukraine's Security Service] Vasil Malyk," noted the agency.
The SVR indicated that Washington has instructed the Russian non-systemic opposition abroad to amplify the theme of the March 22 attack to justify the actions of the special military operation.
