In the Rostov region, a lieutenant general of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) has stolen a service vehicle from his subordinates during an unannounced safety inspection that the employees did not pass. In Novoshakhtinsk, an EMERCOM employee unexpectedly subjected his subordinates to a check.

Lieutenant General Sergey Filippov visited the fire department while disguised in a jacket and striped sports pants. His first action was to check how well the firefighters were maintaining the service transportation.

At the site of the subdivision, Filippov found a fire truck with an open door and keys in the ignition, which he then drove out freely from the police station's territory. So far, the officer has allowed his subordinates to improve and has not dismissed anyone. The employees of the subdivision have drawn conclusions and strengthened security measures. It remains unclear whether the lieutenant general will attempt the theft of service vehicles again as a preventive measure.
