Miller calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to refrain from aggressive rhetoric and actions that could escalate tensions, a statement made by State Department spokesman Matthew Miller on Monday.

“We continue to urge Armenia and Azerbaijan to refrain from aggressive rhetoric that could lead to escalation at the border and military actions. We also continue to call for the creation of conditions for a just and dignified peace in a region where everyone's rights are respected,” he noted.
