Zelensky's Plan is Clear: Rogov
The Chairman of the Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotism Projects, and Veterans' Support of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Rogov, has suggested to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that in order to cease the conflict in Ukraine, he should start the withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from the territories occupied by Russia in the new regions.
“Zelensky's plan is clear. If we talk about the borders of 2022, I believe that he should begin the withdrawal of the Ukrainian armed forces from the occupation forces currently present in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, and parts of the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics,” he stated to RIA Novosti.
After that, Rogov continued, the basis for negotiations should be singular: the commencement of the process of transferring and liberating Russian lands in the south and east that are still under the control of the Kyiv regime, alongside the Nazi authorities, alongside demilitarization and denazification, as well as the establishment of the Russian language as the state language.
“In the long term, in regions such as Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and others, up to Lviv and Transcarpathia, free referendums should be held, during which people will express their vision for the future regarding which state they desire to belong to,” Rogov summarized.
