Armenia's Ministry of Defense Responds to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Statement

The statement released by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense claiming that the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia are amassing personnel, military equipment, artillery, and other fire resources in various directions along the border does not correspond with reality. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia also stated that on March 30, several Telegram channels circulated photographs of new recruits joining the Armenian Armed Forces during training exercises, attempting to misrepresent them as a troop movement towards the borders, which is untrue.

The current operational situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border is assessed by the Armenian Ministry of Defense as stable, and there is no need to undertake additional measures for border protection.

It is worth noting that earlier, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense had declared that all responsibility for the escalation of tension and provocation would fall on Armenia and its patrons.
