Responsibility for Escalation and Provocation Will Fall on Armenia and Its Patrons: Azerbaijan's MoD

Recently, there has been a concentration of manpower, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and other heavy weaponry along various directions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conditional border, along with intense troop movements of the Armenian Armed Forces. This information was reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense. Local media have conveyed these details.

“In recent days, a resurgence of revanchist forces threatening Azerbaijan with war has manifested in Armenia, and the aggressive rhetoric against our country has reached a high level. The amount of provocative information has increased, serving to escalate the situation in the information space in preparation for possible provocations,” the statement noted.

“We warn that any attempt of a military provocation by the Armenian Armed Forces against Azerbaijan will be decisively suppressed by the Azerbaijani army. Once again, we declare that the entire responsibility for the escalation of the situation and any potential provocations will fully lie with Armenia and its patrons,” the Azerbaijan MoD's message stated.
