Details Emerge on Terror Attack in Syrian City of Azaz
In the city of Azaz, located in northern Syria near the Turkish border, a terrorist attack resulted in the death of four people and left 20 others injured. This information has been reported by the Turkish state Anadolu agency, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.
“A bomb placed on a vehicle exploded in a crowded street of Azaz near Kilis. According to preliminary data, four civilians have been killed, and 20 people are injured,” the publication stated.
Following the attack, security measures in the area have been heightened, and the injured have been hospitalized. Local security forces have examined the scene and have started an investigation into the attack.
“So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack,” the agency clarified.
It is worth noting that the day before, at least seven people were killed in a vehicle explosion in the northern Syrian city of Azaz, with 30 civilians affected, some of whom sustained serious injuries. They have been transferred to the hospital.
