Aliyev's Regime Aims to Attack Armenia to Disrupt Pashinyan's Meeting with Blinken and Von der Leyen, Says Armenian Ambassador in Belgium

Aliyev's regime and its allies intend to attack Armenia in an effort to disrupt Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's upcoming meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. This was stated by Tigran Balayan, Armenia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Belgium and Armenia's Permanent Representative to the EU, on his microblog on X.

“Ahead of Easter, Aliyev's regime and its allies are planning to attack Armenia to prevent the scheduled meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Secretary Blinken and Ursula von der Leyen on April 5, aimed at Armenia's development and stability,” Balayan wrote on X.

It is noteworthy that the EU mission in Armenia (EUMA) has issued a statement emphasizing that no “extraordinary movements” have been observed along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
