More than 400 Immigrants to be Deported from St. Petersburg

More than 400 immigrants will be deported from St. Petersburg by court decision for violating the law. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the city's unified press service of the courts.

From March 25 to 29, 2024, the regional courts of St. Petersburg received a total of 584 cases regarding administrative violations under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code (violations of the rules for entry into or stay in the Russian Federation by a foreigner or stateless person), out of which 515 were examined. Based on the court decisions, 418 violators were fined and ordered to be forcibly removed from the country. In addition, another 48 individuals are required to pay fines and leave Russian territory voluntarily.
