Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God but also the greatest revolutionary ever walked on Earth, says Pashinyan

For me, the political understanding of Jesus Christ is no less important, because Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God but also an ideal leader’s figure and, in my understanding, the greatest revolutionary ever to walk the Earth.

This was said by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting with representatives of the Civil Contract party in Artashat.

“It is a very important celebration for our people. There is the religious understanding of Jesus Christ, but the political understanding is no less important to me, because Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God but also an ideal leader’s figure and, in my understanding, the greatest revolutionary ever to walk the Earth, who evidently changed a lot through his actions,” Pashinyan stated.

He drew comparisons to his own party, mentioning that their party has “died” several times and has “risen” multiple times.

“I see great significance in this. Throughout my political career, the following words have always been important to me: ‘Blessed are those who are persecuted for theirs is the kingdom of heaven,’ and these words have always given me comfort in the most difficult moments,” he added.
