US Response to Russia's Reaction on Pashinyan-Blinken-von der Leyen Meeting
The spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, in a press briefing, addressed Russia's reaction regarding the Pashinyan-Blinken-von der Leyen meeting. He stated that part of the turmoil in the region has been fueled by Russia's actions in recent months.
“Regarding this meeting in Brussels, as I mentioned yesterday, it should focus on Armenia’s economic resilience as it works towards diversifying its trade partnerships and addressing humanitarian needs, and nothing else,” said Matthew Miller.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the Armenia-EU-US meeting raises concerns in Russia, as Brussels and Washington are openly discussing the anti-Russian nature of such events.
