The parents of Daleryan Mirzoev, the terrorist who set fire to the Crocus City Hall concert venue, spoke to Asia Plus about their last conversation with their son.
According to them, the day before the tragedy at Crocus City Hall, he called his mother and said that things were going poorly for him in Russia and that he would be returning home on March 24. His father recalls that there was nothing suspicious about his behavior.
Senior Mirzoev noted that his second son was likely involved in the activities of the Islamic State. However, he assured that Daleryan Mirzoev had not been in contact with his brother.
The terrorist attack occurred on the evening of March 22 at the Crocus City Hall, located in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. According to the investigation, four men armed with automatic weapons opened fire on attendees before continuing their assault inside the concert venue shortly before the performance of the 'Picnic' group.
