Xi Jinping Calls on the U.S. to Deepen Economic Cooperation

China and the United States should maintain mutual respect, act in accordance with economic laws and market rules, and expand and deepen mutually beneficial economic cooperation, Chinese President Xi Jinping stated during a meeting with representatives of the American business community on Wednesday.

He emphasized that "as long as both sides consider each other as partners, respect one another, coexist peacefully, and develop mutually beneficial cooperation, Sino-American relations will improve."

Xi Jinping highlighted that China-U.S. relations have faced numerous difficulties and serious challenges in recent years, and both sides need to learn lessons from this.
