Palestinian Media Accuses Turkey of Arms Trade with Israel; Ankara Denies

According to the official data from Turkey's Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey has exported ammunition, explosives, gunpowder, and arms parts to Israel since the beginning of January 2024, reports Palestine Online.

In turn, Turkey has denied accusations of collaboration with Israel, particularly in the defense sector, stating that such actions could harm the Palestinians, according to Turkish Anews.

"It is impossible for the Republic of Turkey, which has always supported Palestine, to carry out or participate in any operation that would harm Palestinians. The Ministry of National Defense does not engage in any activities with Israel, including military training, exercises, or collaboration in the defense industry," stated a release from Turkey's Ministry of National Defense.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense also noted that "unfortunately, Israeli acts of violence continue in the Gaza Strip, targeting hospitals, schools, places of worship, refugee camps, and civilian populations."
